EXHIBITION: MILANKOVIĆ'S CANON OF THE EARTH'S INSOLATION

Within the Festival of Science and Education (http://www.scifest.uns.ac.rs/), the exhibition entitled "Milanković's canon of the Earth's insolation" was officially opened on 7 May 2016 in the Exhibition Pavilion and the Hall of the Central Building of the University of Novi Sad. The authors of the exhibition are Dr. Đorđe Zloković, member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Petrović.

Creative laboratory for fostering and development of entrepreneurial and innovative students’ ideas – iDEAlab was officially open on Friday, 22 April 2016. iDEAlab is located in the heart of the University campus in the street Ilija Djuricic 3, in the building of the Students dormitory „Slobodan Bajić“.

FREE TRIAL TO THE JOURNALS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO PRESS

SIGNING OF THE AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION AMONG THE STATE UNIVERSITIES IN SERBIA

The University of Novi Sad hosted a meeting of the rectors of all state universities in Serbia: the University of Belgrade, the University of Niš, the University of Kragujevac, the University of Defence, the State University of Novi Pazar, the University of Arts in Belgrade, the University of Priština temporarily settled in Kosovska Mitrovica and the University of Novi Sad. The conference was held at Central University Building, on the 17th of March 2016.

ANTONIO TONY UNDERWOOD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOVI SAD

Antonio Tony Underwood, a famous USA jazz musician, composer and music producer, will visit the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and hold a series of free workshops on jazz music in the next few months. The first workshop was held on Monday, the 22^nd of February at the Multimedia Centre of the Academy of Arts.
