INFO DAY ON MOBILITY OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

As part of the activities in improving the conditions of studies for students with disabilities at the University of Novi Sad organized on 31st May 2017 at the newly opened Info-Centre of the University (University tower – Teaching Assistant Dormitory, at 5 Bulevar Cara Lazara), an Info Day was held on mobility of students with disabilities.

 

During the Info Day, detailed pieces of information were provided on the Erasmus+ project Trans2Work, which is dedicated to mobility and employment of students with disabilities and whose implementation is supported by the European Union, partners from Europe and the region as well as the University of Novi Sad.

The interested visitors were given an opportunity to receive more detailed pieces of information from the team members of Trans2Work project and the University’s staff at the Info-Centre regarding the contents and objectives of the project as well as the possibilities for the exchange of students with disabilities in the form of work-based learning for two months in the surrounding countries – Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

In addition to information on the project, the attendees could receive more information on the conditions of studies for students with disabilities at the University of Novi Sad, support services and their usage.   

The event was attended by the representatives of the University, the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism of the AP Vojvodina, the National Employment Service – Novi Sad Branch, the Living Upright Centre, media and students with disabilities.

The Erasmus+ Trans2Work project provides an opportunity to gain work experience through work-based learning for students with disabilities in their final year of studies as well as students who graduated from the academic year 2013/2014 onwards in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
