The European university consortium EUGLOH that gathers nine partner institutions including the University of Novi Sad, received the official confirmation from the European Commission to continue its mission to further develop its interdisciplinary activities dedicated to global health and mobility of students and researchers in Europe, expanding its impact for another four years.

The University of Novi Sad welcomed the Erasmus+ incoming students in the summer semester of 2021/2022 academic year, with the special event organized on 2^nd March 2022.

A one-day online scientific conference Panel Session on Resilient City and Smart Development, organized by the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture – BUCEA and the University of Mostar (SUM), was held under the 5^th China-CEEC Capital Mayors Forum & the 5^th BRAUIC Conference on November 19, 2021. The conference was organized under the auspices of the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium (BRAUIC), in which the University of Novi Sad actively participates, and which brings together a large number of universities from the People's Republic of China, Europe and Asia.

The University of Novi Sad has been ranked among the best universities in the world on the recently published Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2022 by subject. The new THE rankings by different subjects for 2022 were published in September 2021 for four subject areas so far. According to the newly published results, the University of Novi Sad has been ranked in the field of Phycology for the first time, with the rank 501+, as the only university from the Republic of Serbia to be ranked in this scientific field. Beside Phycology, UNS has been ranked in other three subject areas for the upcoming year as well, where it has maintained last year rankings: Clinical & Health (601+), Life sciences (801+) and Physical sciences (801 – 1000).
